- Extract of Myrtle (Distilled Water) : Its name comes from Latin “myrtus”, ancient Greek for “myrtos” that means scented essence. Water of its flowers was used since Middle ages for its anti-bacterial, astringent, tonic, disinfectant and lenitive activities. Moreover it was used against skin inflammation or rushes. Its cleansing power make it suitable for oily skin that needs to be toned up and stimulated.
- Bisabolol: Obtained from the distillation of the chamomile essential oil, mainly used to inhibit and calm any kind of reddending.
- Acetyl Tetrapeptide-15: A synthesis tetrapeptide with a powerful lenitive action for sensitive, irritated or iper-reactive skins. Its demonstrated action acts in different ways: blocking the secretion of CGRP, a proinflammatory neuotrasmittor, reducing discomfort and burning sensation by binding with an oppioid receptor μ.
- Sodium Methylesculetin Acetate: A polyphenol derived from esculoside (extracted from horse chestnut) with strong action on the microcirculation, particularly used to counter capillary fragility and venous insufficiency thank to its vasoprotective and vasoconstictive properties.
- Troxerutin (known as P4 Vitamin): A mix of flavonoids found in coffee, tea, cereals and in many varieties of fruits and vegetables; It is extracted from the Styphnolobium japonicium. It is part of a group of molecules, rutosides, used as a treatment for edemas caused by venous insufficiency, it is used in medical sector as a vasoprotector in all the pathologies in which there is capillary fragility. It increases blood-vassel strength (capillaroprotective action) and reduces permeability, avoiding excess passage of blood liquid matrix into tissues (anti-permeation enhancer and edema prevention action).
